A vinyl record player

The vinyl record spins while music plays. Shuffle, repeat, the sleep timer and equalizer sit beside the record instead of hiding inside menus. The queue scrolls faster, and long titles no longer push the player layout up and down.

Two app-wide appearances

Light vinyl and Graphite & lime change the look of the whole app — library, player and settings. The switch lives in Settings, while the controls you need while listening stay on the player.

Transfer music from a Mac or over Files

Copy a music folder to Open Music with Finder on Mac or the Files app on iPhone and iPad. Then open Settings > Add folder in the app and select the copied folder under On My iPhone/iPad > Open Music. Copying alone does not add tracks; connecting the folder is the step that makes the music appear.

Steadier with real libraries

Files and folders added more than once are handled more reliably, and your existing library is preserved during the update.
